Why the name TSBLA?
The original name of the group was Trainstation Breakaway, the group was formed because some of us didn't like the way a former group was being run. That name didn't sound right, so it was changed to Trainstation Branch Line to reflect the divergence from the original group down a side track as it were. The "A" stands for addicts and was added later to note that many of us played this game A LOT!

Why a website, you are a Facebook Group after all?
We have felt for sometime, that there is an opportunity to expand the world of TrainStation to a wider audience, we also felt that we needed to attract some new players to our group, which would allow our group to expand and continue on its mission. Also, FB group documents are not easy to work with and not flexible and google docs from FB are not simple to access. Therefore we thought we would combine the two and that’s how the website idea began. We also felt we could tailor it, not only to support TSBLA, but also the Devs who frankly having played many on-line games are simply the best out there, responsive, understanding, flexible, but remain true to their ideals and do not try and rip off their players

Does having the website affect the Facebook Group?

Actually we believe it only means good things.

TSBLA, Facebook group will remain the core of the group

We will have access to more players, by having a place where new players can understand the game quicker

Let us be clear, we are NOT looking to make TSBLA a massive group, far from it, we want to attract players who are excited about TS and want a group they can learn from and help the next generation players

There maybe changes in the way we hold docs in the group, but the core principles will NOT change, we love what we have and see the website as an extension, not a replacement

What is the plan for the website?
This HTML5 version is very new and will take some time for us to bed down, we feel we have the main parts in place now, but there is always room for improvement and expansion and we will do this as much as we can on a go-forward basis..
